What's Been Happening at Ralcomm

January 6th, 2016

Ralcomm is always working hard to provide affordable wireless communication services for our customers. Below are highlights of what we've been up to lately:

  • We just completed a large two way radio system for the Camrose school board. This includes a radio in every bus, base station radios for dispatchers and incorporating the use of two repeater towers to cover the whole County of Camrose.
  • We are in the process of expanding our R1 radio network to run all the way from Hinton in the West to Hardisty in the East, to Swan Hills in the North and to Red Deer in the South for unbroken radio coverage.
  • We are finishing a large radio network expansion for the County of Wetaskiwin.
  • We are bringing fiber-based Internet to separate schools in the Leduc area by wireless link.
  • Using our new 350 ft tower at Fox Creek, we have been able to bring wide-area networks to oilfield customers, linking their sites together for Internet and Scada.

For more information about these initiatives, contact your local Ralcomm location in Wetaskiwin, Whitecourt or Drayton Valley today for more details.
